standard Jelly Bean Now on 59.1% of Android Devices, KitKat only 1.4%

android-versions-january-2014The biggest issue with teh Android update cycles is the frustrating slow roll-out speeds for new updates, that is unless you have a Nexus device, or a “Play edition”. According to the latest numbers from Google, Jelly Bean (4.1-4.3) now makes up 59.1% of all Android versions running on devices, while only 1.4% of devices are running the latest version (4.4/KitKat). Hopefully Kitkat will start a wider rollout soon.
