standard Elop’s Farewell Fund From Nokia Increases to $33.4 Million

1288368820616Back in September when the Nokia/Microsoft deal was announced it was announced that Elop would get close to 18.8 Million Euros in return for closing the deal with Microsoft, as well as a severance fee for early termination of contract (4 Million euros cash, and the rest in stocks). However in the past few months Nokia’s stocks have risen making the total sum that Elop will leave the company with to be approximately 24.2 million Euros ($33.4 Million).

Not bad for a few years work eh?

For reference Elop’s base salary was only 1.1 Million Euros (while Nokia’s new CEO; Rajeev Suri is making slightly less at 1 Million Euros).
