standard Lumia Cyan Finally Brings Slider Control For Brightness

NZmzCcXAnother aspect of where Microsoft show their relative in-experience in mobile OSes is the fact that for the past four years (give or take) Windows Phone has been limited to three settings for screen brightness. Our options have always been either High/Medium/or Low or of course Auto brightness (which I prefer to use).

However once again Nokia have swooped in to the rescue, as it appears the latest Nokia specific update; Nokia Cyan brings the option for a brightness slider as seen above (Nokia Cyan is currently only available on the Lumia 630).

It’s the little things like these that Microsoft need Nokia’s much larger history and expertise in the mobile world to help bring them to WP; but we’re getting there!
