standard Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer Buys the LA Clippers for $2 Billion

BallmerIt seems buying Nokia’s devices division while heading Microsoft wasn’t enough; as now reports are confirming that Steve Ballmer, Ex CEO of Microsoft has won the bid to purchase the LA Clippers basketball team. Previous reports mentioned that Ballmer was considering a bid of $1.2 Billion, after the racist remarks by Donald Sterling (previous owner of the Clippers) was pressured into selling the team.

Nothing is more fitting for the energetic, always excited (and sweaty) former Microsoft leader than owning a basketball team; at least his shouting won’t seem out of place court-side. There were also some rumors that Steve was planning on moving the Clippers back to Seattle (hometown of Microsoft) to resurrect the Seattle Supersonics.
