standard OneDrive Free Storage Increased to 15 GB, Prices Slashed by 70%

1TB_OneDrive_O365Microsoft’s cloud storage option, Onedrive (previously named SkyDrive) is the default upload service integrated into Windows Phone, and used by many. Now users can enjoy 8 more Gigabytes of free storage as the default limit has been upped form 7 GB to 15 Gلآs. More importantly for heavy cloud users the prices have been lowered A LOT; with over 70% decrease in the pricing, making 100 GB of extra storage only cost $1.99 a month.

The new monthly prices will be $1.99 for 100 GB (previously $7.49) and $3.99 for 200 GB (previously $11.49).

All of these updates will take effect in the next month. For current subscribers, you are all set, you’ll automatically be moved to the lower prices.

Office 365 Subscribers (regardless of the account type) will also get a free 1TB of extra storage!
