standard BBM for WP Public Release Coming Next Week, 10,000 Beta testers in 24 Hours

bbm-windowsBBM Beta for Windows Phone finally launched earlier this month, bringing the WP platform to the collection of “cross platform” messaging available. Now BBM have announced that  a public release, available to all (no need for a sign -up) will be available as soon as next week. Meanwhile the beta will continue to get updates and improvements that will then be available on the public release, such as BBM Voice, stickers and more.

In the coming months, we’ll add more great BBM features, including stickers, BBM Voice, Channels and location sharing

Blackberry also added that all 10,000 available beta trial spots for WP were filled in under 24 hours, impressive.

Are you using BBM yet? Or did you miss the beta sign-up (like me), if so how do you like it?

  • Not bad for a Beta…. Not as fluid as the iOS version but pretty much on par with the one I have on my Android tablet. Looking forward to the voice feature!
