standard Anker Astro E4 13,000 Mah Portable Battery Unboxing and First Impressions

Given that my Lumia 1520 has a massive 3,400 Mah battery, my simple Nokia DC-16 portable charge with a capacity of 2,000 Mah no longer cuts it. So I went ahead and ordered the largest capacity, highest rated charger I could find online. Enter the Anker Astro E4, the massive 13,000 Mah battery is more than enough to get any device charged, including most of the tablets out there; it helps that the Anker charger also has their IQ charging technology, which allows devices to charge at up to 3 Amps.

Check out the video unboxing below:

A device with a capacity this large is bound to weigh a bit, and given that the size itself is quite compact the extra weight is worth it. The Astro E4 weighs 10.2 ounces or 289 grams, which is admittedly quite a lot for a portable device, but it’s not like you’ll be putting it up to your ear is it? (I hope you aren’t).

In terms of charging speed, in my limited testing so far the Astro E4 showed off its rapid charging skills, bringing up my Lumia 1520 from close to 25% to over 40% in less than ten minutes, talk about impressive.
