standard Microsoft Preparing for Lumia 730 and 830 Launch on September 4th

We’ve seen numerous leaks of the upcoming Lumia 730 and 830, and now it seems Microsoft are ready to finally unveil the product. As they’ve sent out invitations for an event in Berlin on September 4th, with the tag-line “Join us for more face time”, a hint at the upcoming selfie phone perhaps?

The “O” in More is also the same shape of the camera lens we’ve seen on the leaks of the Lumia 830/Tesla (seen below), it’s expected that Microsoft will launch both devices at the IFA convention in Germany, where most companies display their latest products.

BsRRIBuCUAA9iH5Additionally the rumored specs for the Lumia 830 are as follows:

  • 4.5-inch 720P display
  • 20.1 MP PureView camera
  • Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1
  • Micro SD

While the Lumia 730 as we heard previously will have:

  •  4.7-inch (likely FWVGA at 854 x 480, but possibly 720P)
  •  1 GB of RAM
  •  Quad-core processor (unknown speed)
  •  8GB internal storage
  •  Micro SD expansion up to 128 GB
  •  6.1 MP rear camera
  •  5MP front-facing camera

With a rumored price of around $240 which would make the device very attractive to customers if the pricetag and specs are accurate.

What do you guys think? Anyone interested?

Thanks for the tips Alvester

I feel Lumia 830 will have at least 4.8 inch or higher (may be 5 inch) screen considering Lumia 730 is rumoured to be 4.7 inch. This is in line with the screen size leak that came out earlier this year for xx30 series

I really hope so, people here in Egypt don’t care about small screens any more :(
