standard Assassin’s Creed Pirates Now Available for Windows Phone, With Xbox Live Achievements

DSC05788As promised earlier this week by Ubisoft on twitter, Assassin’s Creed Pirates is now officially available to download and play on Windows Phone 8. The game is the first version of the Assassin’s Creed Franchise to hit mobile devices, and hopefully not the last, Assassin’s Creed Pirates is the second mobile game of the franchise available, the first being Altair’s Chronicles.

Assassin’s Creed Pirates on Windows Phone is an Xbox Live title, 940 MB in size; and should work on both 1 Gb and 512 Mb ram devices. You can buy the game  from the link below for $4.49. We’re currently waiting on it to finish downloading on our device, once we’ve had a chance to play around with it we’ll update you with our thoughts on it.

    You might want to change that as Assassin’s Creed has been available on mobile devices for years. There was even a Symbian version featuring Altaïr…

    • Doh, stupid mistake, the problem is I’ve played Altair’s Chronicles on half my phones, can’t believe I forgot; I was thinking it’s more like the first franchise game that mirrors a Console version (Black Flag). Post has been fixed now though, thanks.
