standard Microsoft Lays Off 2,100 More Employees

bg_Microsoft_logo3-20120824073001907469-620x349As rumored, Microsoft have continued to round two of the post Nokia acquisition lay-offs, this time laying off 2,100 employees. This time however the employees that were let go also include employees already stationed in Seattle, who were originally Microsoft workers; meaning that the layoffs are no longer Nokia exclusive.

The most recent round of layoffs brings the total number close to 15,000; Microsoft initially announced that they would lay off near 18,000 employees throughout the year; so there’s still a round three on the way.
