Windows Phone 8 has a simplified call history, which shows multiple calls to a single contact grouped together. The number of calls be they missed, outgoing or incoming are represented by the number inside the parenthesis, however the calls will only be combined into the same parenthesis if they’re made in the same day (meaning that every days calls are grouped together).
Recently I discovered that you can actually view the details of the single calls in a “group of calls” with a single contact.
To do so simply long press on the contacts name and choose “details”, which will take you to a screen like the one below, detailing the time, date, duration and type of call (incoming/outgoing/missed) for that contact. Pretty neat huh?I know a lot of you might already know this, but I thought it was worth a share, any other obscure tips people might not know?
