standard Microsoft Planning to Unveil Windows 10 for Tablets and Phones In January

windows10logoAlthough Microsoft have officially announced Windows 10 for PC’s, detailing some of the new features, and even releasing a preview for enthusiasts, they haven’t said much about the mobile version of Windows 10. Now according to TheVerge Microsoft will be detailing the features of the upcoming mobile version of Windows 10 come January 2015.

The software giant will also detail its plans for Windows phones and tablets, and possibly dashboard updates for its Xbox One gaming console. Windows 10 is designed to run across multiple devices, including PCs, tablets, phones, and the Xbox One. We understand Microsoft will announce the details of its Windows 10 consumer event before the end of the year.

It’s not exactly clear what changes will come with Windows 10 for phones, and when they’ll be available, but Microsoft have already confirmed that Windows 10 will come to all existing Windows Phone 8/8.1 devices.
