standard Second Batch of Nokia N1 Tablets Sells Out in Minutes

DSC_0052Earlier this month Nokia started selling the Android powered N1 tablet in China, the first batch of tablets (20,000 units) sold out in under four minutes. Now batch two has already gone on sale and depleted “within minutes” (although apparently it took longer than 4 minutes to sell out this time).

The third batch to arrive in China is scheduled for January 22nd, and you can pre-book one online. Hopefully the N1’s stong sales will continue, showing Nokia that they’re still very much loved.

Anyone planning on grabbing one?

Thanks for the tip Sayan

The Nokia N1 bears a striking resemblance to the iPad Mini. It has the same 7.9-inch 2048×1536 screen, the same bezels, the same anodized aluminium unibody chassis, and very similar camera, button, and headphone jack placement. Even the bottom of the N1 looks like an iPad Mini, with two speaker grilles flanking a small, central port.

Nokia N1 comes with Nokia Z Launcher, the home screen that makes things simple. Just scribble a letter to find what you’re looking for – instantly. Plus, it adapts to where you are and what you’re doing to bring you the right app, right when you need it.
