A few months ago we heard the first rumors of what to expect in Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 10 flagship; of these rumors the most interesting was the inclusion of an iris scanner as a way to secure your phone. Now Microsoft have pretty much confirmed the rumor in a listing of the security and sensor features supported in Windows 10 (Seen below).
The main question however is how accurate and user-friendly will these sensors be? How well will they work in the dark? What if the user wears glasses? Unfortunately we won’t get a real answer to most of these questions until a true Window 10 flagship phone is available, and the expected date for that is sometime near September, so sit tight folks.
