standard LG G4 Unboxing and First Impressions

After several weeks of nerve-racking anticipation, we’ve finally gotten our hands on a G4 to call our own, to love and care for (and eventually scuff up and dent); but most importantly to induce jealous in others. There really is no other way to put it, the Leather clad G4 is certainly one hell of a classy phone, and certainly a head turner, the slim profile and bold colors make a real fashion and tech statement. So enough talking about the phone, check out our unboxing below:

At first glance the G4 can be mistaken with a Vertu phone, or some other luxury device, after all this is real leather we’re talking about. Beyond the design and materials however, there are some very interesting specs, with 3 GBs of RAM, a Snapdragon 808 processor and a 16 MP f/1.8 camera (not to mention the vanity feeding 8 MP front facing camera) the G4 is certainly a contender for everything you could want in a flagship device.

Very very nice, I’ll be getting one of those. The tan leather looks awesome, but I am worried it will get grubby/tatty after a few months

    • I’m hoping that the leather will get a nice vintage aged look, rather than a dirty cheap discoloration, but we’ll see.

I bought an LG G4 myself (UK) The camera is exceptional! I took some fabulous photos of the stars last night, using the manual controls. It’s great having such long exposure time as standard.
The one gripe i have is, I’m suffering from the touchscreen issues that lot’s of other people are reporting. I have to admit, it is becoming a tiresome pain for the screen to intermittently not react to certain touches or swiping.
