standard Nokia releases a trio of pure Android phones at MWC


We all knew this day would come, NOKIA (or HMD) have taken to the big stage at MWC in Barcelona to announce three new phones, the NOKIA 3, the NOKIA 5 and the NOKIA 6/ 6 Arte Black. All of Nokia’s new Android releases run on a pure Android 7.1.1 Nougat experience (with no skins or launchers), a welcome addition to those pure Android lovers.

nokia-6-colours-black-mwcThe Nokia 6 comes in 3 colors (and 2 shades of black if you opt for the Arte black edition) with a 5.5″ 1080p screen, a 16 MP rear facing camera and an 8 MP front facing camera. On the inside it’s powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor, with 3 GB RAM / 32 GB internal storage (or 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage on the Arte black edition). The Nokia 6 is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and comes packaged inside a colorful aluminum chasis complete with a fingerprint scanner and NFC.


nokia-5-colours-mwcThe Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 are lower end Android phones (as the name would suggest),  the 5 being the more expensive is also carved out Landing-Nokia-5-700pxof aluminum, while the 3 is constructed of a metal frame and a polycarbonate back.The Nokia 5 is priced around $200 while the Nokia 3 is a more affordable $147.
